Kendra is 22 years old and is a triplet. She was born with quadriplegic spastic cerebral palsy. Her life has been full of obstacles and challenges, but with her faith and family’s support, there is nothing she can’t achieve. Since middle school, she was told that she would never amount to anything and wouldn’t be able to graduate with her brothers. Kendra would not take “no” for an answer. She graduated with a high school diploma and is now in college studying human services to become a community advocate for individuals with disabilities. She knows how exhausting it is trying to prove yourself every single day that you are more than your disability, so she wants to be able to share her experiences with individuals and let them know that they are not alone. Kendra’s passion project is “Roll with Life” with a mission to empower individuals with disabilities and to share awareness: “Having cerebral palsy, I just have to do it my way and I love to prove people wrong. That’s just how I roll with life.”
