Sydney is 18 years old and lives in Irmo, South Carolina. She loves talking to people, dancing, singing, spending time with family and friends, reading, and listening to music. Sydney plans on starting her own business one day. Sydney’s advocacy experience began when she joined her high school’s Equip club, a peer-to-peer young adult leadership club focused on empowerment, support, and camaraderie for students with disabilities. Sydney is a proud disability advocate and says, “I love being me!”
